Oh, it might have been just a little branding. It might have lasted only a few hours. It might have not been a big deal to leg calves out instead of roping them… but we had four neighbors show up to help.
For that we are grateful. For that act we will return help at some point… and they, once again, with us.
I thank God for this community, where neighbors help neighbors. Where teasing is often the currency of friendship. Where help is volunteered and taken and returned. Where work becomes fun because we are friends. Where a friend helps teach a son, knowing in turn, someone will help teach the friend’s son.
I hope this always continues… the children learning and watching and sharing and growing and counting these days as the best they will remember of childhood.
Thank God for neighbors.

I love how you all work together
Great neighbors are so important!
We have great neighbors too. Very thankful for them!!
Many hands make light work. How wonderful to have good neighbors and they may live miles away.
So very true.
