Rain.
Wonderful, amazing rain.
My weather station measured .91”, almost an entire inch! And we have a chance for more tomorrow! While those of you reeling from Tropical Storm Fred are currently laughing at my delight for not quite an inch… remember, last year we received less than 7” TOTAL. Average is 14” per year, so, yes, an inch is wonderful!
Look at this photo from a few days ago, taken from my front yard, looking up the mountain.

That’s smoke from Oregon and California, which has been ruining my pretty Wyoming skies for well over a month.
Then, Thursday morning I took this on my way to work… lovely, wonderful, amazing rain clouds obscuring the view…

Then, after raining a bit more today… this was my view this evening…

Now THAT’S MORE LIKE IT!
Yay for rain!

Rain is so wonderful for cleaning the air. I wish rain could even out so everyone gets some. We in so Cal are desperate for some.
Wonderful that you got some rain. And blue sky to end your day.
Wow that is so great!! What an answer to prayer!
