I know I shouldn’t, but I am planning to do a recap, top posts from 2021, you know, that kind of thing… and I’m scrolling through my Facebook feed… when a video shows up of someone moving like 30 head of cattle down a fairly busy road with a police escort.
I can’t find it again… but it had like 4,000 views and 3,000 shares or was that 3,000 comments? Whatever. I fell off that slippery slope once again… my video I posted yesterday? Many more cattle. No road. No police escort. Horses. Dogs. Cute grandkids. 55 views on YouTube and four comments!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! And the comments! Then I just start searching for ranchlife and Wyoming and ag bloggers and I am no where to be found, so my super power is I’m invisible on social media.
Well, maybe that is a good thing these days.
I should learn to leave well enough alone. And quit looking at all that stuff! I’ll go back to my research of *MY* top posts of 2021…
Plus! It’s long overdue for a Q&A session. I used to do them once a month and it’s fallen by the wayside. Any questions for me about ranchlife? Post them in the comments!
Since my grandkids were nice enough to give me a cold for Christmas, I’ve done nothing for two days… oh, wait, no… I repaired my chicken coop window Christmas morning… with cardboard. Which I hope lasts long enough for me to find another window. The way the wind has been howling, I wouldn’t bet on it.

This, by the way, is the exact same window I wrote about years ago in my post, Cooped Up. It really is one of my funnier and more memorable posts!
Go enjoy it. Relax. And I’ll take my own advice.
Find me here!
Oh that was an ‘interesting’ story. Glad you got out ok.
Did the wind break the window?
I don’t know what broke it…
