It was all I wanted and more! Robert is a good teacher, leading us into the past and explaining the beginnings of ledger art, then sharing modern artists of the ledger art tradition. Before we knew it, we were working on our own artwork. Encouraging and positive, Robert led each of us on our own journey of expression, trying to make us leave our personal criticisms behind.
While we struggled for a bit, soon the room became quiet as we tried to create! Some great art was made and excited talk about plans for next week’s class swirled through the room. It was entertaining and educational and challenging. Can’t wait until next Saturday!
I had not heard of ledger art so had to Google it. So amazing. I also looked at Robert’s website. Wonderful creations. Great that everyone is enjoying the class.
Looks like fun and a great time was had by all. Good to create in a noncritical atmosphere.
