You Don’t Stop

Posted on February 1, 2022February 1, 2022

A trip to town filled my day…

Once again, I failed my “daily photographic journal”… but since the next week is supposed to be full of record cold and snowfall for many of us across this nation… I thought I’d pull out one of my favorite photos of Vernon, enjoying the life of a rancher.

I remember this day working cows. It had began as a relatively nice day and deteriorated as it went along.

Soon, it was a full blown blizzard.

I’m just throwing this out there… as you huddle in your house in the next week… please give a thought to your local ag folks. I bet they’re still working. They don’t stop until the work is done and the livestock is cared for. Many people these days want to *play* “Yellowstone” but few have the commitment to follow through.

Definitely commitment, and “working your passion”. Your family fits that to a T. Thank goodness for all who truly do this, and play the irreplaceable role of farmers and ranchers.

I think both sides of the pond forget where our food comes from, how much hard work it is and coping with changing weather. Thank you to you and your family for all you do in ALL weathers. Stay safe in the snow.
