Yes, Sir, Yes, Sir, Three Bags Full

Posted on May 29, 2022May 29, 2022

I think I swore I’d never make another one. Yet, here I go again. While contemplating what we were going to buy Daniel for his birthday, I proposed a new saddle pad. In the back of my mind, I thought, I *do * have all that wool downstairs still… Did I have the latchhook canvas? Why, yes.

I returned to my posts about making Vernon’s back in the day… and I hit up YouTube and Pinterest as well. Sure enough I found a few different techniques than what I had originally used. I debated, reconsidered, remade my plans, and finally made my decision. Are Lacee’s reins complete for *her* birthday? Nope. But, I went ahead and jumped in… the day before Daniel’s birthday.

Obviously, it will be a work in progress for quite a while. I’ll send Daniel a pic every once in a while to help keep me on task. The best thing is… there’s now a corner in my craftroom empty of three bags of wool!

Yes, sir, yes, sir!

Looks a great project. I’ve just completed 25/100 6” crochet squares to make a blanket. A work in progress.

Good going! Hope you have enough wool for the new project.
