It started raining last night, just as predicted. it’s rained all day just as predicted. It’s 10 pm and it’s still raining and we’ve measured 1.93” so far! That’s pretty impressive!
I also just watched two vehicles start driving up the mountain on the dirt (mud) road… a car and a pickup. Hopefully, we won’t have someone banging on our door in an hour wanting help. Sheesh, people.
We sent a delegation to Worland to remove the CIDRs from our heifers… they took slickers and tents and tarps and whatever they could to help keep things dry. I’ll be heading over with Brandon in the morning to see if any are ready to start the AI process. I had planned to go today, but Vernon told me they could get it… so… I had all of the morning to do whatever I wanted…

I’m two rows short of halfway… which makes me happy.
Oh, and those people just came back down off the mountain. Thank goodness!
Find me here!
All that rain in one day….we call that a “trash mover and a gully-washer!”
What are the CIDRs? Have I not been paying attention?
Congratulations on halfway. It seems that it went quickly or perhaps it was lack of interuptions?
Glad there was no emergency on the mountains. Well done on getting almost halfway. It’s looking great.
Latch hooking while it pours rain outside? My kind of day. 🙂
