It’s time to pull the cows and steers off of BLM land. They’re in the Willow Creek Pasture. That’s a close pasture to the Home Place, so Jaxon and Quinlan were lucky enough to play cowboy. We did a bit of back and forth, going out, gathering, bringing them back, and heading out for more.
Here’s Jaxon trailing some of the neighbor’s cattle farther out of our way…
And Quinlan trailing some of ours back to a different pasture.
Oh, by the way… meet Milo… my steed for the day. We’re buying him from a neighbor/friend and today was my first day aboard. We did ok together, though it always takes a while to get used to each other. Poor guy was hit with nose flies, which I found out he HATES. I’d hate anything that flies up my nose and stings, too. He’s a good looking guy…
I also did a Facebook Live video today! I had service and the cows were behaving… so if you’re on the Book of Face, go to Red Dirt In My Soul and watch today’s video!
Find me here!
He is so handsome for sure. Are you retiring Panama? Bet the boys love being cowboys…
