Vernon and I blasted to Cody today. On our way though, we hauled some iron to the recyclers. Cleaning up around our places means tons of scrap iron. Ranchers tend to hold onto pieces and parts and make new pieces and parts when necessary. There does come a time when you really wonder if you will need that 2’ section of old crusty pipe. We’ve thrown them in old rusted out stock tanks and now they’re full.
Remember the frame to the disc bine that cracked this summer? It was the first piece off the trailer.
Then comes the first tank…
This was a super cool machine. The cab can be hydraulically raised and lowered.
The guy has a good grip on the tank, squeezing them just a little.
What a cool, quiet machine!
And the cab is back down. This has to rank up high on the this-would-be-fun-to-run scale!
Find me here!
That is certainly great piece of machinery.
Ranks right up there with automated production lines to me. What fun!
All machines are interesting to me – I like to know how things work. This machine is pretty awesome, with a cab that raises. Fun to watch for sure.
Hope you get some $ for the scrap iron.
