Wedding Present

Posted on July 7, 2023

I can share one of my latest alcohol ink creations now since the wedding is over… Congrats to A. and W.! This set of pitcher and salad bowl are decorated with the colors of a high plains summer… I know they’ve spent hours riding horses through the bunch grasses and yarrow I painted on these… Not showy, not brilliant in color, but the resilient, dedicated, and overlooked beauty of the prairie that sustains us. It’s the colors that speak of the earth… solid, ever present, life giving… Best wishes!

And another side…

A beautiful gift to enjoy and pass on to other generations. The colours are so vibrant and yet give a peaceful picture of your sustaining prairie.
