The past two days, I’ve attended the Wyoming Women in Ag conference held over in Worland. I’ve been interested in attending the past few years and since it was just over in Worland this time, I could hardly pass it by. Thanks to the library and my boss for being flexible enough to swap out my days to attend. It then really helped when WWIA called and asked if I’d like to bring some of my crafts over as well. Sure!
Another major reason I wanted to attend was the keynote speaker, Brandi Buzzard Frobose. She began blogging about the same time I did. She was a grad student at the time. I remember seeing her name on the lists of ag bloggers that were passed around. Her blog, Buzzard’s Beat, is still going and that says a great deal. If you’d like to read *her* stories, I recommend you go over to her blog and discover life in Kansas. She’s had posts go viral and has thousands of followers, but best of all, she writes quite well! It was enjoyable to finally meet her.
Other fun sessions included agritourism with Double Rafter Cattle Drives…
A quick stop by our U.S. Senator John Barrasso…
And, hey, a fun little time with a crafting kit courtesy of KT Dream Designs.
I have to say, though, the best time was our field trips. We visited the local honey producer and a hydroponics produce business. We also had fun at making cowboy candy! I’ll cover those in the next few days. Stay tuned!

Glad you had fun, and I hope some of your crafts sold!
So glad you were able to attend and be inspired!
