I have to admit, running inside from putting up outdoor Christmas decorations because Brandon just texted me is one thing… but to be able to pull up the live auction happening in Riverton, Wyoming is super cool. Lacee and Reagan and I could text Brandon… watch it be delivered and read by him on his phone… and then wait as he typed his response… all in real time.
I didn’t have to drive clear to Riverton, sit on those hard seats in the auction ring, listen for hours to the rocking cadence of the auctioneer, and keep myself awake… We watched for the 25 minutes it took to sell our bred heifers and cows, and then carried on on our merry way. I know the importance of being there, but I also like being here.
