97%

Posted on December 18, 2023

I rode along with Vernon on a trip over to Buffalo. We haven’t had much winter yet, and it seemed bizarre to cross the mountain and not have much snow in mid December!

This is Powder River Pass… 9,666’ in elevation, and only a couple of inches on the ground. There’s plenty of wintertime left and most of our snow comes in the spring months, but it’s still a bit disconcerting.

However, since the goal was to bring home 6 ton of mineral in our trailer… I was entirely happy that the road was 97% dry!
