Up and Down

Posted on May 19, 2024

I’ll interrupt the construction posts with our weekly ramble up the mountain… last week we couldn’t make it very far, this week we made it to our mountain pasture. Not that there weren’t snowdrifts in the road…

Or some water standing in places…

It is rather easy to see the buffalo wallows…

The corral is in good shape, but we won’t be working cows in it anytime soon!

A rumble or two and a dark cloud, and back down the mountain we went.

Buffalo wallows are left over from years ago? Or do the cows use them now?

Photos are amazing. You certainly had a great drive up the mountain.

Very good picture of the buffalo waddie! An interesting landscape with
some snow still in May. Cloud picture is very dramatic, too. Thanks for
    the ‘ride’!
