Whoops. I was partially wrong yesterday when I said that Vernon and I had no experiences with competing at county fairs. Our kids didn’t. I didn’t. But Vernon and his sister (who is visiting right now) both took animals to the Washakie County Fair. Oddly enough, we’ve been going through old photos and guess what?
Washing your steer may have meant playing in the ditch or creek. Not a fitting chute with blow dryer!
