Well Done

Posted on November 5, 2024

Out you go! All the calves have been weaned and all momma cows now head to the badlands to graze the good hard grass of the Big Horn Basin.

While Brandon, Megan, Quinlan, and Lorelei braved the chilly wind on horseback, Vernon and I drove the side by side along fence lines, closing gates, tightening wires, and repairing broken spots. I was happy to be along even if I wasn’t out there riding in the freezing wind! Come to find out… side by sides with cabs and heaters are REALLY NICE.

We zipped home and drove out the pickup and horse trailer so the cowboys wouldn’t have to ride the entire way home and turn into popsicles!
It was chilly but it was a job well done!

So glad you were able to keep warm in the side by side.
