Heifers worked and crew fed… it was time to move them.
I ran around throwing the food into the refrigerator, then Bravo and I jumped in my Jeep to go flag in front of the heifers on the highway. Three miles on the highway and a mile to the field. Highway traffic is minimal, but there’s some blind spots where it could get messy fast, so I put put putted along, with flashers blazing and my arm hanging out the window to wave a “slow down” at those certain people who must think I’m just using my flashers on the highway because I have nothing else to do! Sheesh, people. (Not the school bus. E. Knows this road and he drives correctly!)
Shoved off the highway into the Double Crossing Pasture, I zipped around to open gates and stand in the water gap, hopefully, turning everything the right direction.
The horses were in the creek bottom but everyone decided it was time to move cows and they all came to join in the fun.
Safely trapped in a small field for overnight, I left the crew and headed home. My knee feels so much better, it’s now the muscles turn to renew themselves and I find myself looking for a place to put my leg up. Helping in what little ways I can makes my mind feel better too. I’m definitely not a stay inside all day kinda gal!

Glad you were able to enjoy being outside and helping with the “parade”
that included the horses. Bravo is definitely ready to go join up. Like the
snow in the background.
So glad you are back outside! Love that the horses are following right along too and Bravo so cute
