I attended the granddaughters’ last middle school basketball game today. As fifth graders, we’re happy if they control their dribbles, passes, and attempt a few baskets. The refs were very good with them, explaining calls, giving fist bumps of encouragement, and, thankfully, not calling all of the traveling calls they could have made. I gave them a special thank you for making their 32-0 loss a little better. The refs smiled and said how much they enjoy helping the young ones learn the game.
Reagan enjoys hanging out with Megan and Brandon during the game.
She keeps score. It doesn’t look comfortable for Brandon but she stayed that way for quite a while.
I followed that up with a tour of our new school (photos to come), a quick visit to a tiny craft fair, and a long visit with a good friend. It’s so nice to be out and about once again!

So glad you ARE out and about with a few fun things to enjoy.
Sounds like a wonderful day!
