After the girls’ basketball game, some of us were hanging around, with a little time to kill before our next event. Our school superintendent offered a quick tour of Ten Sleep’s new school and I jumped on the opportunity. I’ve been wanting to see it but haven’t ever had a chance. I swear our school was one of the oldest in the state… and so this will be very nice!
It is a two story school. Elementary will be on the bottom, middle school and high school teachers on the second floor.
Large stairs for seating is one of the first things you see…. It faces a music/performance area.
This electric fireplace sits at the end of the cafeteria, which will have booths and static tables for seating.
Garage doors can be raised to open up the classrooms to other areas. Elementary rooms are partitioned by frosted glass separations… K/1, 2/3, and 4/5… which sometimes are combined classes have that opportunity if they want. 6 th grade is upstairs, though slightly removed from middle/high school.
This will be Jaxon’s class… and they get a little balcony area as a bonus.
Of course, upstairs has English, Social Studies, Science, and Math…
It’s kind of difficult to tell the rooms apart right now…
But the art room and the weight room look very large.
The gym has a walking path around the upper level which is nice for winter!
There’s outdoor seating for performances or whatever by the back parking lot…
The transition to the new school is supposed to happen over Christmas break… and there’s so much to do! They sure don’t make boxy individual classrooms like the old days! It’ll be interesting to see how it all comes together. What do you think?

Wow. That’s looks amazing..
That’s the nicest school I’ve ever seen … and I’ve seen lots, but not in a cold climate. It looks very practical as well.
Innovative, flexible, lot of options, and trendy like the fireplace in the cafeteria! Love it. Kudo to the architect and planners. It’s ready for the future…but maybe not for Christmas break!
VERY NICE new school. Finished by Christmas break? More like spring break move-in. Love the indoor & outdoor ‘seating for performances’ areas.
