We took the new eartags down to the calving shed.

The calves are weighed and birthweights are recorded.
A DNA sample is taken, which is simply a hole pierced into the ear, and it’s automatically inserted in this little tube.
Then they got their new tags too.
I remember having my ears pierced!!!? Ouch.
Who said being a calf was easy?
