Along for the Drive

Posted on February 24, 2025February 24, 2025

Every time I drive my side by side, it makes me giggle.
I mean, it’s mine, and it’s pretty, and IT’S MINE!

Somewhere along the way, it became “My Bluebird of Happiness”. My “Mountain Bluebird”. Not a Western Bluebird. And to that end…. I couldn’t resist.
Yeah.
I bought a sticker!

Pretty much a trending thing to do… but when I saw it, I just had to spend the entire $3.

Isn’t it gorgeous?

OK. I have to be honest. While I love mountain bluebirds, (and meadowlarks, and red tail hawks, and a few others), my first choice will always be the sparrow hawk aka the American Kestrel. So, big spender that I am…

It’s still my western bluebird of happiness, but there’s nothing wrong with having a sparrow hawk along for the drive!
