She Likes It

Posted on February 23, 2025February 23, 2025

The things we do for our dogs.

I think I’ve mentioned how Indy has a problem with her back, so jumping in the side by side is more like a pull-scramble-grunt (if she could) kinda deal. To help her out, I rescued my old rug from the Durango (which is for sale, if you’re interested).

Now, some of you will say a rug in a sxs is a total waste, and it will soon be covered in mud, and you’re right. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t, but I figured it would help her scramble in if she had something to hang on to.

Amazingly enough, she crawled from the back floorboard into the front floorboard the other day, and I didn’t even know that was possible. It did make it easier to lay the rug though.

It seemed to help… and I think she likes it.

Sounds (and looks) good to me. My dog had trouble jumping down from my Forester’s seat. I had to teach her to go to the floor to get in and out.
Much easier on her and me(I don’t have to see her limp.)
Indy looks happy and that’s what counts.
