I had planned on cleaning my house, but Vernon called and wanted my opinion about the corral design, so I quickly and happily abandoned my dishes and drove to the corral rebuild.
My design layout was not quite what was on the ground, so I needed to update it with new measurements.

Since we will be weaning soon, a temporary water setup was built.

Since we were kicking around any modifications to the original plan, we decided to work around the scale pen.

Nothing like sky high welding…

Reuse a gate…

Cut some continuous fence to fit…

Weld it up!
What a job, this is!
We will continue to work… with deadlines looming… the race is on! (Which, if you know Aussie, is their term for an alleyway. So I made a humorous pun there. Does it count if I have to explain it?)

This is quite a project! Being outside beats housework any day! haha
That looks like new pipe – Back in the day recycled oilfield pipe was used. A ranchers’ work is never done. The Greets are always improving their cattle ranch. Hat’s off to you and your family, Carol.
The continuous fence is new, the posts are made from used pipe!
