Last week was National Library Week. We received a nice present from a loyal supporter. The local coffee shop named a drink in our honor. We had a bookmark design contest for all ages. We have new Friends merchandise available through donation. Then, on Thursday evening, we had Casey Rislov and Zak Pullen speak at the library. They are the author and illustrator of “A Home for Steamboat”, a family book about Wyoming’s iconic bucking horse.

The character Zak drew above the book is Rowdy Randy, a character from two other collaborative books they’ve done. We had a grand time and then, Friday morning, they went to Ten Sleep School.

I had bought Reagan a copy of “A Home for Steamboat” last fall… and requested a bat drawing for bat aficionado Reagan. Zak drew one for her and she keeps it in her book. She was proud to show it off to them.

Thanks, Casey and Zak! Everyone had a wonderful time!

I love hearing about how 10 Sleep involves people in the library and everything. Good work 10 Sleep and 10 Sleep Library!
I love how your library brings books, writing and illustrating to life. So inspiring to show kids the real people who create the books they enjoy. Well done, as always, Ten Sleep Library!
What a wonderful library and activities for your town.!
