All my grandkids have entered their respective county fairs… with Washakie County last week and Johnson County this week. While all of their animals get the most attention… rightfully so… their horses, steers, heifers, lambs, pigs, and chickens take a great deal of time and effort. But I do not discount the other entries.
These little projects teach valuable lessons as well. They can be the gateway to lifelong interests. You may move away from the country and livestock is no longer an option… but these will remain…
