So… we’re back out gathering cattle. Vernon has driven to Billings… leaving at 4:30 am. Our calves are selling on the video auction and he’s there.
If we were home, we’d have the live video up on YouTube.
Well, Daniel had an answer. He has a mini Starlink and I had it in my side by side. I brought my iPad and he’d keep checking in, waiting for our turn.
Finally, it was time.
How crazy is that? To be miles from the house on top of a sagebrush covered ridge… and watching our calves sell from Billings, Montana. They sold well. And Daniel mounted his horse and rode away… and I drove off to intercept the front of the herd.
