It’s 9:30, Do You Know Where Your Cows Are?

Posted on June 28, 2009November 29, 2014
I do.
We just put a quarter of them in the Double Crossing.
That means EARLY in the morning we’ll take them to our mesa pasture with the half we took up the other day.
That means I should get ready for bed instead of writing… but I have found my passion for this blogging “nonsense” is addictive.  Too bad I can’t stick to a diet or exercise program as well!
That’s it!
No blogging until I’ve exercised…
yeah, right!
I spent the majority of the day painting the scale house.
Trying to spruce up for the Centennial Party.
It’s now halfway finished and so is my bad shoulder!
Hooray for Advil!
Did I ever tell you about the day I REALLY thought I was going to die?  I mean, besides the day I had blot clots in my lungs… (Sheesh!  Does this mean I only have 7 lives left???)
Anyway, that was the day I hurt my shoulder originally…  maybe someday I’ll share.
Amazing how tired I am from painting a little bitty scale house.
Of course, I didn’t take a photo of it…
but I did take a photo of the back of the bunch headed out to the Double Crossing as the sun was setting!
That’ll have to do for today!
I’ll try for OOPE photos tomorrow… maybe… it is an awfully dusty trail… hmmm…
headedXX

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
