Today, we went and picked up our new-to-us dining table and chairs. It’s much darker than the other woods we have, a rich “almost cherry”… about as far from the beat up, blonde, 1950’s table and buffet we inherited when we moved into this house. What is it about those 1950’s trailers, repainted and repurposed instead of sitting abandoned… I love ‘em… So… grab some perfectly shaped cobbles from the creek, wash ‘em, and start painting! Aren’t they cuuuuuuuute? And I like those old pickups, too…
