It warmed up into the 30˚’s today, with just the occasional breeze to chill it back down.  The guys said it was howling in the badlands when they were out checking the water lines.  I passed on going with them… there’s still things I want to make or do that I didn’t get finished BEFORE…

Fresh Snow

After our blizzard yesterday, we were happy to see a bright blue sky today.  Although the temperature didn’t seem to break 15˚, it was fairly nice out… the grandkids even came up to try to sled in the fresh 10″ of snow, but it wasn’t packed, and powdery snow isn’t great for sledding on shallow…

While I head to town for a dentist appointment and final round of shopping… for Vernon, who finally came up with something he wanted for Christmas… it was easy to see Vernon already had his first chore completed and the sun wasn’t completely up! We’ve just begun feeding our calves and heifers… Breakfast is served!

I’ll give you two guesses to come up with what I *almost* finished today!  A little handsewing and putting the back on these… and… I’ve only one more to do! Whew. I’m not exactly timely… but, if you don’t tell ’em, they won’t remember!

Yeah, should have made my Wordless Wednesday into a jigsaw puzzle… and forgot. To make up for it, I’ll give you two! It was a whopping -23 this morning, so I stayed inside as much as possible… enjoy the puzzles, everyone.  Stay warm! Junco Winter Storm
