Close-up and Often

Posted on March 30, 2016March 29, 2016

The cutest little calf is a resident of our hay shed. It’s mom has gone AWOL. Vernon can’t figure out who its mom is… There’s no one bawling around like they lost their calf.  There’s no one with a tight bag wanting to feed a baby.  There’s no sign of anything that can help us…

If you think about it… LIFE’S GREAT!  and pretty cool. Even if there’s more spit than bubbles. Remember those great,…

Wet Felting Slippers – Part Two

Posted on March 27, 2016March 26, 2016

Finally. I think I have it figured out.  It doesn’t like long videos.  How I would ever post something like a 20 minute video… it’s just not gonna let me. Here’s Part Two of what will become a long series of short videos! Felted Slippers (Part Two) from Carol Greet on Vimeo.

Sweet

Posted on March 26, 2016March 25, 2016

Another snowy and stormy day at my house… I unexpectedly ended up babysitting Jaxon and Lacee… but what a good day to snuggle in and make Easter nest cookies, right?  Plus have a pot of beans on the stove… I was surprised that Vernon, too, hung around the house more than usual.  I mean, there…

Bless Your Heart

Posted on March 21, 2016March 20, 2016

Poor Babies

Posted on March 19, 2016

My chicks arrived this morning.  At 6:50 am, my local post office called, and I hurried down to Ten Sleep.  Opening the box, I saw 26 little bodies.  I saw one barely breathing, so I pulled her out and dropped some sugar water down her beak. The chicks had been shipped on Tuesday and went…
