Mercury Glass

Posted on December 11, 2017

Every little bit, I’m trying to squeeze in some crafting. ‘Tis the season, dontchya know? I’m on a mercury glass kick right now… Those old, mottled, silvered/mirrored glass objects… not the real stuff, I probably couldn’t afford those.  Just a remake. I took some old vases and bottles… and some of Krylon’s cool mirror spray…

Jewelry Table

Posted on July 1, 2017June 30, 2017

I set up a table at the Ten Sleep Brewery tonight… I did last week, and sold two pieces of jewelry.  Tonight, I sold none… but hey, I had an Indian Taco, so all is well! My display is evolving. (The truck isn’t mine…) But I need to hang the pieces… on something that won’t…

That Works

Posted on June 10, 2017June 9, 2017

I’ve noticed bright, colorful flower pots for sale… a rainbow of colors.  I’ve been tempted… might as well have some color in your flowerbeds before the flowers actually BLOOM. But you know me, I didn’t want to spend the $$$ for a colored plastic pot. I have all sorts of boring, black, white, and clay…

Mahogany Hills Pendant

Posted on May 7, 2017

For those of you called by the colors of the earth, this rectangular agate echoes the mahogany hills and dry prairie grasses of Wyoming.  Infused with seams of chocolate shadows, the stone reflects the land.  Wear this pendant and keep yourself grounded in nature’s beauty. Also included are two matching pierced earrings wrapped with silver…

Copper Wrap

Posted on March 18, 2017March 17, 2017

I spent an afternoon on this… It’s not my design, simply one I copied off of Pinterest.  It was my first bracelet that I’ve made, so I felt I should follow a successful pattern! I like it.  Yes, my wrists are huge, so it is a big bracelet, but that’s just how it is.  It…

Ready (Finally)

Posted on March 13, 2017March 12, 2017

I started this little item in October for Victoria’s November birthday. I made it WAY too big, so I tore it apart. Then, I added WAY too many beads so that it was just all cluttered, so I tore it apart. Next, I liked what I did… and I’m NOT tearing it apart! Hey, Toria! …

Eight Strand Gaucho Braid

Posted on February 22, 2017February 21, 2017

I haven’t made a movie in a Very Long Time.  Since I just finished braiding my reins on our trip to Colorado, I decided to film that tutorial.  It’s one of the most difficult braids I’ve done because it’s is very hard to find where you left off if you get interrupted! In fact, I…

Inspired

Posted on February 19, 2017February 18, 2017

Bullet journaling is a topic that I shared during my Journaling Class I gave at the library a while back…  basically it’s a great way to keep track of things like goal setting or habits. You can track just about anything… and be organized about it.  It’s a way to accomplish things instead of just…

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
