Christmas Parade was tonight… We arrived just in time to grab a quick bite to eat… sit in our car with the seat warmers on to chow down… then watch the small parade. We then drove up the hill to again enjoy the seat warmers while waiting for the fireworks. It makes much more sense…

Work
We gathered the calves today. The girls will be headed to a feedlot outside of Worland to laze around and eat… they’ll be there all winter, basically just growing up. The boys will stay around, at least for now. Since they are all together, we gathered them up, trailed them home, sorted, then loaded them…

A little bit of snow makes for good tracking. It’s not a common skill like it was a century ago… but you don’t have to be that good to see if a cow has walked by! Vernon and I made one last trip to the Mesa Pasture to make sure no cows were left behind……
