Today is the 9th annual National Day of the Cowboy. Fully recognized as a permanent day of celebration in seven states, with more coming on board, NDOC has growing support.
It’s a heritage I’m proud to celebrate… and while I didn’t do too much “cowboy” activity TODAY, let’s have fun with it anyway!
I’ll share some of my favorite “cowboy” photos!

Some really great pictures. A lot of them featuring my favorite cowboy!
One of my favorites, too!
Ooo-ah! Love every picture, especially the third one, depicting a cowboy’s vigilant glance over his land.
If you get the Smithsonian channel, there is a wonderful series called, “Aerial America” you might enjoy…history and fabulous photography of each of the states.
Definitely sounds like something I’d like…
Nice pictures! Miss the west.
Well, sorry you miss the West… hope these photos help!
If you have not yet entered the closeup photo of the cowboy boot in the stirrup, you should.
Love all your photos….
I’m not sure what you’re talking about… enter what? Thanks…
Awww, beautiful! I especially love the first two!
