Too many irons in the fire… and none of them hot enough to brand!
I worked on many things around here, but not a single one was finished, which just bums me out!
I wandered around looking for pins to hold my dutch door together and didn’t find anything…
I started working on the final windows in my studio, and didn’t accomplish much there… just one board leveled and one board cut out.
I did find an antler to use as my door handle, but it needs trimmed with my tile saw…
I picked up my house a little, but not enough to call it clean.
I started work on some wool jewelry, but I’m debating on gluing the hinges on the pendants shut, so people aren’t tempted to open them up and have the wool fall out!
I’ve decided to sell a calendar again this year, after my big “wreck” two years ago, and nothing last year… I couldn’t help myself! It’s close to being finished, but I’m still debating a bit!
I didn’t even touch my soap today, so no new Soap Stones.
My Square Marketplace has a ways to go before it’s ready to publish.
You’d think I’d stick with one project and be happy… and I thought I’d work inside all day, but it did brighten up after this last rain, and I had to venture outside to the studio…
Just for kicks… here’s how the front window and door looked in 2009…
I’ll have to make a slideshow to show everything I’ve done someday!
Find me here!
“Too many irons in the fire… and none of them hot enough to brand!” Sounds like the beginning of a song – The Creative Woman’s Lament. 🙂
I think you’ve got a case of flitting! But don’t worry – it’s not contagious, it’s not fatal…it’s a nice quality of a creative person.
