A Box

Posted on December 2, 2013December 2, 2013

I’m working on an item for our library Silent Auction next week.

I chose to use wool, and decided to copy this great vintage Father Christmas card.

I know, why not start with a box?  Or an apple?  NOOOOOO…

I have to start with a PERSON for heaven’s sake!

Well, here it is SO FAR!

There’s lots to work on… and who knows if I’ll get it done by the 9th or not!

Why, oh why, do I do this?

It’s too far along for me to quit now, but I sure wish I’d needle felted a box instead!

Carol, I really appreciate all the work you put into your internet site. I don’t know where you get all your energy. Don’t you ever sleep?
BTW where can I see your calendar. Having lived on that ranch for a few years, I am interested in seeing the pictures, and maybe I can order one from you.

If you click on the links either on the top of the page or the right sidebar, it will take you to a site where you can preview the calendar and order it directly from the printer. Either that, or pick one up in Ten Sleep or I can mail you one!

It looks great so far! I always like the old Father Christmas figures….much more than our modern Santas.

Oh, it looks wonderful!!! We do challenge ourselves don’t we. I decided on my hand made gift this year – and ordered the supplies last night. They won’t arrive until the 16th. 🙁 26 pair of earrings to make in 9 days. I CAN DO IT! Right!?!?!?

Sounds like something I’d do… I NEVER get everything made I want to!
