Ideas. Stop.

Posted on March 6, 2014

It was another busy day at the library… lots of kids for story time and classes from the school… plus all the adults!  It was actually up in the 50˚s today, so many people were brushing off those wintertime blues.

Yesterday, my fever started returning for my studio… time to get back to it!  I went picking through piles, because ranchers never throw away something they might reuse someday…  I was looking for shelving/bracket items, whatever I could repurpose for my artistic wall.

Instead, I stumbled across this!

vintage stop signA vintage stop sign!  I loved it instantly, and though it wasn’t a shelf (and I’d hate to bend it to make it into one) I do think this belongs in my studio somewhere!  Ideas???

Don’t know just the right spot for it, but what a lovely find!

I think it would make a lovely top for a little folding camp stool type table for your cup o’ tea. Fold and lean against the wall when life is busier!

I think I’d have it on a slider near the door (or sawhorse!) that could be moved across the entrance for when I was busy and didn’t want to be disturbed!

    Awesome find! Love it!!

I could see it as wall hanging, sign on outside wall, or…..floor mat at entrance!! Nice find! Obviously I should live on a ranch because I never want to throw anything away either!
