When you have seven grandchildren aged four and under… the Ten Sleep Kids’ Rodeo was the place to be today. Everyone was there…
We had stick horse racers…
and costumed superheroes (3rd place!)
(We had firemen too, but no pictures allowed….)
We had dummy steer ropers…
Quinlan just edged out Waylon… they earned 2nd and 3rd places…
Don’t forget the Goat Tail UNtying competition… Jaxon shows us how it’s done.
We had tired parents… (his eyes ARE closed!)
Tired ponies… even the stick horse kind…
We may have even had an exhausted kid or two… or seven. We didn’t even have a “kid horse” good enough to do all the other events! Maybe next year…
Thanks to all the volunteers and supporters (including Big Trails Natural Beef 😉 ) for organizing and putting on this rodeo! Kids LOVE it!

Exactly. Perfect. Love it.

Loved the pictures, kids are darling. However…………….the pooped papa in green shirt and closed eyes behind his shades, mouth hanging open just a tiny bit…………hope he got to bed early. His picture said it all. The young and lovely mamas look fresh as daisies!
Love those cowgirl pink hats and the stick horses tied up. Good training for when the stick horses are replaced by the real thing. Glad you all had an exciting time.
So much FUN for the kids (and parents as well). Great ideas, events, costumes, and pictures to enjoy years from now!
FUN<FUN<FUN. What a great idea.
