No Knuckles

Posted on March 6, 2018March 5, 2018

An update on our “knuckling under” calf from the other day…

Number 12 was born with the physical problem that made it impossible for this little twin heifer to stand up straight on her front hooves.  Two days later, I found her bedded down in the warm sunshine.

I had to wake her up.  Nudging her repeatedly, she finally stood, taking sleepy steps.

She stood straight, barely any indication of her condition.  But she may have had a little attitude from waking her up from such a sound nap!

Wonderful news. Yep, she may have an attitude. Nothing better than a nap in warm sunshine.

Too bad to wake her from her nap in the sun, but happy she’s recovered.
