Do we have good timing or what?
Preg testing cows… and it’s foggy, cold, and not quite pleasant.
I arrived late with the grandkids… and set up lunch in the salt shed. My view barely let me see the squeeze chute and people working in the corral.
The Cousin Crew was happy for hot chocolate.
Reagan gave her input on the paperwork.
With the help of Toria, Megan, and Tess, I built a fire, fed everyone chili, frog eye salad and desserts, with a hot drink… then I loaded up the Cousin Crew and took them down the mountain. I didn’t work one cow, nor did paperwork, nor walked along the chute. It was an unusual pregnancy test day!
Maybe next year they will get work out of me, and the Cousin Crew!
Find me here!
Me too. We need to know what Frog Eye salad is, before our (my) imagination gets the better of us!!!!!
Maybe tomorrow!
What the heck is Frog Eye Salad???????
Hot chocolate with marshmallows… yum. (Home made, I’ll bet???)
Frog eye salad?
Okay you did not work cows, but, you DID work, lunch, fire, taking care of the Cousin Crew. All very important jobs.. You are so awesome.
I’m thinking how fortunate those cousins are to experience these ranch things! AND hoe fortunate grandma and grandpa are to have them near! (mine are 1,000 and 1,300 miles away)
Just started enjoying your blog. Wyoming has, and always will, own a piece of my heart, after living in Casper from 1983 to 1991.
Welcome to Red Dirt! I’m a Casper girl… 😉
