Amazing

Posted on June 15, 2021June 15, 2021

I met with some people about a possible logging operation on the mountain today. Vernon was busy repairing the baler and getting haying back in production, so he sent me.

I didn’t have much to say, but I always enjoy seeing new country.

After the meeting, my sister and I went to our little timber patch for a picnic. I wanted to look for some elk… plus get Bravo a drink at the spring. It was 82 degrees up there! We wandered over, I was amazed there were no elk in sight. Then…

Well, duh.

See all those little brown specks in that clearing? Actually, if you enlarge that pic, there are elk all the way down into the timber. Yup. I spotted some elk! Let my cool little Canon zoom in on them for you!

Amazing, aren’t they?

Amazing, for sure! I wonder how many there were? Looks like a big group to me. Glad you has this serendipitous happening during the picnic with your sister.

Those elk photos are great, there is no sound like bull elk screaming out their bugle in September.
