Action

Posted on February 18, 2023

More photos from yesterday…

(I still couldn’t get them to download to my iPad, but a direct line to my desktop works, so I did manage to save these photos…)

Indy and Bravo run alongside each other trying to catch up to the herd. We are all on four wheelers or side by side, the heat from the engine is nice to have, and they’re easier to catch than horses! Since we’re going such a short distance, just a bit over a mile, with no difficult terrain to manage, this is easier for us. In addition, the cows and heifers will be in their new pasture with plenty of daylight left to find their feed and water in good time.

Daniel’s dogs travel very well with him, staying close to his four wheeler until sent to do a job. I’d like to get mine to do that!

Indy enjoys the new doors on our side by side… she can keep up with the action outside!

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
