Horse Shows and Cowboys

Posted on July 22, 2023

Well, it wasn’t a kids’ rodeo! Quinlan, Jaxon, Lacee, and Lorelei joined the 4H Horse Program and today was the horse show. Showmanship, halter, western pleasure, and all of the other classes had four eager participants.

It panned out for them, they all came home with ribbons.

After a very hot, long day with the kids, parents weren’t given a break. They had to come home, gather cattle, and bring them in to the corral. They’ll catch a ride to the mountain tomorrow.
This evening’s photo, though, is a good one for the National Day of the American Cowboy.

4-H is such a terrific club! Very nice to see that your grandkids joined, and all got ribbons with their handsome horses.
