It’s a Christmas tradition… author Craig Johnson comes to the Ten Sleep Library and reads his Christmas themed short story.
Not only did we have cookies provided by the Friends of the Ten Sleep Library, we also served a hot cocoa bar.
Pick your favorite “topping” to put in your hot chocolate… I didn’t even have time to try it, though I’ll make a cup on Wednesday while I’m at work.
I thought we’d have 50 people like last year, but, oh, no…. We crammed more like 60 into our meeting room… and then Craig had to reread his short story to the 30 people that were sitting out in the main room!
Yup. Over 90 people. I didn’t expect that.
I’ve been joking lately that we need a second floor, and, honestly, sometimes we do!
Thank you, Craig, for being such a great supporter of libraries!
Oh you’re so lucky to hear the story by Craig. I shall have to wait and pick it up on Christmas Day via an email link. Looks like you all had a wonderful evening.
What an inviting Hot Coco Bar. Ten Sleep library has so many amazing community activities! Would love to attend one sometime!
What a wonderful “problem” to have! I would travel a very long way to attend this event – but I just can’t do the actual 850.
