Beyond Their Years

Posted on February 25, 2024

I was going to give Vernon a ride down to his excavator so he could move it before the next snowstorm arrives. Walking out to the shop to get the side by side, we found some creative souls hard at work.

This is Quinlan. Welding. I know it’s not the first time he’s welded, but it still amazes me what all these kids can do. They all have talents beyond their years and it makes me happy!

That’s Lorelei in the background getting the basics down as well.

After we’d rescued the excavator, progress had been made and discussions were being held on design.

Jekyll is receiving some love from the welder and Brandon is considering the design. This is a feeder where you’d put a flake of hay in the top and grain or cake in the tray. Sharp edges and size were being debated… I’ll show it to you when complete!

Great job, Quinlan!
