Vernon wanted a ride and then I had to wait… my standard time filler… hike around, look for “cool things”. I have no problem doing this! But, I also pack “backup”.
A little set of watercolors and postcards… and some nice shade.
It’s hot enough the dogs are hanging with me instead of chasing rock chucks.
While one postcard dries, I can work on another. They’re nothing special, just quick landscape studies, but a wonderful way to pass the hour.
