Wordless Wednesday – “Cowboy’s Sunrise”
Cowboy’s Sunrise
Cowkids
Got the last bunch of cattle to the Mesa Pasture this morning… that means almost everyone is there and will be taken to the mountain on Thursday. It will be an all day event… climbing quite a bit in elevation! Since today was just a 4-5 hour ride, mainly along a road… we had our…
More Views
A couple more pics from the last few days… Sunrise on a cloudy morning… An old gate… Rodeos are exhausting….
Red Ridge
Another day of gathering and trailing home… Morning sunrise adds a glow to Zip’s face… While we’ve had the use of this pasture for years, we’ve also had to adjust how we trail home through the neighbor’s fields. They’ve replanted and gained pivots… and what fallow fields we used to cross, are now lush hay…
Youth Rodeo
Dorothy, The Scarecrow, The Tin Girl, and the Lion appeared with their escorts at Ten Sleep’s Youth Rodeo today. A couple of fishermen landed some really large black fish. There was plenty of roping and riding, playing and general fun… The kids had a wonderful time… and received some wonderful prizes. Thanks to all the…

Another Work Day
Gathering at the edge of Otter Creek Canyon. When you manage for grass… some places can grow stirrup high and higher grass! This place is a great example! My allergies can attest to it!
Another Bunch
Moving and working another bunch of cows… Sunrise shadows of Daniel and I. Gathering off of Ritchie’s Flat. Deciding to go around Daniel’s pretty fields than risk trampling them down. Making it around the corner with Brandon in the lead, opening the gate. Double click on photos to make them larger if you’d like!
