Sorry about last night… when you wait until late to write your post… and then it won’t let you sign in… it doesn’t take too long before you just give up and go to bed! I don’t have that much patience late at night. But! I did sit down this evening and make a movie….
Springtime Ranching Video
With the recent heat, it’s nice to watch the snow in this video from April 1 – 16! The False Spring continues and I burn a little extra weed patch along my garden fence. I put some grandkids to work, digging, cleaning, and dehydrating what carrots I have left over from winter. My husband works…

Beginning A New Year at the Ranch Video
My year started off with a bang when something exploded and burned my new wool sweatshirt. Vernon’s New Year’s birthday was followed by babysitting some of my grands where we always find adventure. We looked for two bulls in some big country and branded a few as well. A new hay feeder arrived and the…
Christmas on the Ranch Video
A compilation of activities around Christmas here on the ranch. This video covers from December 19 – December 27, 2021. A Christmas pageant, sledding, some alcohol ink art work gifts I made, more sledding, Johnny’s 91st birthday, Christmas lights and Christmas, horses and then that pesky unwanted visitor. She was scared away and so far…
Cows, Cowboys, Kids & Art Video
Wyoming ranch activities during November 9 – 26, 2021. My drake mallards refuse to fly away preferring to stay in my chicken coop where the living is easy! We move cattle to water using horses… the drought is evident in the reservoir cracked dirt. My art class sponsored by Lifetime Arts was held at the…
Ranch Life in Wyoming Video
This video covers November 2 through November 8, 2021. We gathered and moved various groups of cattle this week, moving them to lower pastures and sorting them as well. Time was also filled with some molting chickens, trying (and failing) in some prescribed burning, and various scenic views from around the ranch.
Do Ranchers Still Exist? Video
I tried some predictive text… do ranchers… ???? I was surprised to see “still exist” as one of the answers. Yes, Virginia, ranchers still exist. This video covers October 17 through November 1, 2021.
