(Not-so) Wordless Wednesday: Well, That Was Pretty

Posted on December 30, 2020December 30, 2020

Go Away

Posted on December 28, 2020December 28, 2020

The weather has been holding and the guys keep finding jobs that they’ve wanted to do for years. For Vernon, it has been fencing, for Brandon, it’s been cleaning! Re-Red Video: November 24 – December 7, 2020

Posted on December 27, 2020December 27, 2020

This review of the blog, Red Dirt In My Soul, covers bull testing, a third birthday, some bald eagles, curious calves and a whitetail buck. Clearing greasewood, filling ruts, a frozen mountain spring… all in a normal ranching schedule, but made unusual because it was December! And we can’t forget Propaganda!

Sundog Sledding

Posted on December 22, 2020December 22, 2020

I’ve spent a great deal of time with the grandkids this week… my favorite photo, well, ok, one of my favorites… was this one. A sundog appeared while we were sledding. Always a favorite of mine, sundogs are even more fleeting than summertime rainbows. They make me remember so many things… one of my very…

Posted on December 21, 2020December 21, 2020

Well, it was a pretty sunset… The cloud continued to consolidate… and after sunset, the only thing visible was a narrow slice of sky just above the horizon. So much for viewing the Christmas Star. Maybe there’s a chance for tomorrow. An evening of crafting… And an old movie… Still added to the Christmas spirit……

Christmas Parade

Posted on December 20, 2020December 20, 2020

I guess the newest thing on YouTube is called #shorts. Vertical videos in under a minute. I managed to squeeze Ten Sleep’s Christmas Parade into 58 seconds. It includes the Girl Scouts, 4H, Cowbelles, the town, Ten Sleep Brewery, some individuals, some businesses, the ambulance, fire department, and Santa! Four grandkids on floats… but Quinlan…
