White On Grey
Wordless Wednesday – “White on Grey”
White On Grey
White On Grey
I do believe I have a dilemma. I’ve been having a mystery in the chicken coop. There’s been an unidentified perpetrator destroying eggs. The first suspects were the young roosters. Over time, the circle of life dismissed the roosters from the suspect list. That left the one young hen, as I didn’t think my tried…
When you hit the highway and visibility is one and a half delineator posts… When the snowplow must be busy on the mountain because your highway is still unplowed… When your wheels throw up more snow on your rear window than your wiper can handle… When your top speed of 30 mph seems plenty fast……
More spoons ready to go. All with a western theme, no surprise. But then, inspiration came… And this guy appeared. With flames on the handle, and his eye on the front, I’ll be sorry to see this guy go.
I’ve read about it for a while… and just started trying it with my chickens. Fermenting their chicken feed. Translate that to just soaking their chicken feed, and you’ll take the scariness out of it. They tell you that fermenting your feed will increase the protein, or rather, let them get the full protein out…
It seems to be very slooooow around here of late… The guys are feeding cows in the morning, but with four guys spreading out the chores… It goes fairly fast and easy (barring breakdowns). I remember it taking until almost lunch sometimes back in the Way Back Times. Maybe that’s like walking uphill both ways…
We used to always haul horses in the pickup or big one ton if there was five or six to haul! Them newfangled horse trailers are kinda nice, though.
Topping Puzzle
Well, here’s a post you squeamish readers may want to skip! Since it’s just a part of ranchlife, you know I’ll include it, but, the photos that come up, may not be for viewing over your morning coffee. Now that I’ve lost a few of you… Remember our surprise colt, Jackpot??? Cute little, tiny, itsy…
Today is for her… because my Mom was a cool lady.
Oh, those Wyoming road trips! A little ground blizzard… A little wildlife… A little scenery.
Playing some more… I do the fronts with a small pic, the back with the major pic, and the handles with a pattern as well. The bottom is my kids’ brands surrounded by a tooled leather style design. These are fun!
