Posted on August 4, 2009January 1, 2015

The ones…

I Admit

Posted on July 7, 2009March 25, 2015

I love taking photos of Wonderful Wyoming…  my English Shepherds… and rodeo… But with rodeo, I admit… I’m not sure if I like the split second before a wreck photo… Or the perfect ride photo… OK, not a good ride, but a good move by the clown/bullfighter! This one’s my favorite… plus I know this…

Oh, So Close to a Perfect Picture!

Posted on May 14, 2009December 20, 2014

I was this close…  [   ] note the size… *this* close to taking the perfect picture yesterday. Well, maybe not technically or artistically for some people… I’m no Ansel Adams!  But when it comes to *MY* category of “working cow dog photos”, this was was almost there! Taking photos of working dogs is HARD!…

Playing

Posted on December 17, 2008December 20, 2014

Forgive me… I’m playing with photos… wish I could spend more time figuring creative stuff out… but, for heaven’s sake, I haven’t even mailed my Christmas cards! So here… Scenic Wyoming at its best… This is Johnny’s pump house…did I just ruin it for you?  Looks like a quaint tiny log house, but it would…

Out of Pocket

Posted on November 20, 2008April 3, 2015

You ever heard the term, “She is out of pocket.”?  Basically it means someone is unavailable, out of touch, gone, removed.  That was me today… at least in one sense.  We worked our heifers, so I had to cancel Lucas’ reading session at school.  Waaah.  Oh, well. On the other hand, we got to ride…

Carol, Wyoming rancher

Since 2008, I’ve kept this photographic journal of life on our working Wyoming ranch.  I share ranch work, my family, crafts and DIY, my English Shepherds, Bravo and Indy, and a love for this land.  Enjoy this red dirt country!
